1974 (25th Nov) London to Perth Airmail env addressed to Narrogin (Misspelt "Narrogen" on env) with "DELAYED EN ROUTE AIRCRAFT HIJACKED" 2 line cachet in black on reverse. This is a different type of cachet to the ones offered in Sales 24 & 25 in that it is in a "typed" style which has left a reversed imprint above the address on the front of the cover plus has had "ED" added to Hijacked. This would appear to be far scarcer than the hyphenated version. Roughly opened at top but does not impact cachet plus comes with the added bonus of the original "The West Australian" newspaper front page for Monday November 25 1974 complete with photos of the VC10 aircraft on the tarmac surrounded by fire engines & Mrs Kath Walker, one of the Australians on board who was on her way home from attending the "World Black Festival of Arts" in Lagos.
