1939 (8th Sept) 1/6d Hermes pair on England addressed cover reflecting the outbreak of war & the postage rate reverting to 1/6d per ½oz plus the service reduced to twice weekly. This cover addressed to Birmingham was carried on flight SW 170 which left Sydney on Saturday 9th Sept & arrived Poole on 20th Sept. Ex Brian Pope. Related to AAMC 879h
