1976 (Sept-Oct) 50th Anniversary of First Flight Overseas by RAAF incl 1975 de Pinedo Jubilee Flight commem cover with 35¢ Aboriginal Art x 2 tied by pictorial biplane Savoia cachet. Group of 1976 with black & blue "seaplane" vignette on (1) aerogramme "Australia - Pacific Is 1926-1976" & PNG aerogramme with Daru First Survey Flight cachets in violet with diamond shaped 7 OCT 76 pictorial Norfolk Island cachet in carmine & signed by pilot of VH-WGK plus Aust 25¢ aerogramme with Daru similar cachet to above & signed by pilot. Another similar but lettering of cachet in black & bearing PNG 10¢ Seaplane pair & also signed by pilot (F.R. Harris) & ditto signed J. Koch, courier with another but signed F.R. Harris with Kieta cds. Others flown 1-10-76 from Kieta-Honiara & Solomon Is 20¢ "Britten Norman Islander" tied by Honiara 3 Oct 76 cds & signed by Nelson Eustis, Flight Manager addressed to New Hebrides. Finally a similar with New Caledonia 26f & 2f adhesives addressed to Norfolk Is & Aust 25¢ aerogramme tied by Lord Howe Island 8 OCT 76 cds & signed Eustis & the hostess plus another aerogramme & 2 covers.
