Germany 1927 (18th May) Schneidemühl, Germany to Sydney commercial postcard bearing 10pf x2 & 20pf airmails & endorsed for transmission via Constantinople, Bombay & Netherlands Indies. 40pf franking representing 25pf UPU rate plus the 15pf Berlin to Vienna airmail surcharge. "Mit Luftpost Par Avion" black on yellow vignette. The earliest recorded commercial postcard from Europe to Australia accelerated by an airmail service. Note; the reduced UPU rate of 15pf for postcards was not introduced until Aug 1 1927. Some creasing but not detracting. Ex Perry (plate 5)
