1973 (27th June) Handwritten letter from Ernest Crome to include with covers carried on the last flight of the Southern Cross. Details damage to his cover stock when his "garage roof sprang a leak"! Also gives some background to Smithy's last flight & his disappearance. Also another letter dated 8.4.30 from a Leslie Wright requesting a cover carried on first flight from Camooweal with response from Port Darwin Postmaster.
