1938 (7th May) "Friedr. Müller Maschinenfabrik Freital-Dresden", Germany printed cover with typed Melbourne address franked 3Rm90 for UPU 40pf plus airmail surcharge 50pf per 5gms x 7. Carried on Imperial Airways "Corio", flight IE651, which force landed on 10th May at Dubai owing to mechanical problem with the service resuming the following day. Melbourne 19 MAY 1938 b/s. Damaged flap at back & edge wear but a rare item & additionally of interest to Dubai postal historians. Ex Perry.
