1931 (19th Mar) Camooweal to Daly Waters flown & pmkd on FDI of Kingsford Smith set, this with strip of three 2d's tied by Camooweal cds's plus 2d & 3d on Normanton to Brisbane to Sydney cover also tied by 19 MR cds's of Normanton incl strike in "Forwarded by Airmail" cachet. Also a Cloncurry to Brisbane & Sydney but cancelled Cloncurry on 16th March, 3 days before the official day of issue! The last "FDC" flown Brisbane to Sydney with Airmail Save Time slogan cancel with "Wellington N.Z. Packet Boat" receival dated 23 MR. The latter 3 covers addressed to Frank Cook, Christchurch, NZ with 2 having pre-printed addresses. Good to VG cond. Other routes flown with Kingsford Smith FDs incl AAMC 181a Sydney to Melbourne Cat. $125. Those in this lot are scarcer. (4)
