Western Australia Selection of mainly early Federal period covers, all but three addressed to Hobart, the others to S.A., N.Z. & Ireland (the latter untaxed, with 2d yellow tied by COOLGARDIE "D" duplex of 1906). Various postmarks incl Kookynie, S.M.R. Perth, Railway Station Perth (1912 to N.Z. bearing 1d, 2d & "late fee" handwritten), several Coolgardie, Lawlers (2), Laverton & Mt Magnet. The Kookynia cover bears 5d in franking & has handwritten "123" registration number & blue crayon "cross", boxed Perth reg. mark & Hobart receival on reverse. Nice lot, nearly all with spike holes not affecting the adhesives. (16)
