1979 Airmail envs x 3 addressed to Clunies Ross at 30 Edwards Square, London. 2 with "Cocos Traders Ltd Cocos Islands" printed at base of env., the other "Clunies-Ross Estate Keeling-Cocos Islands" printed on flap. Mixed defins & commems used, one with "First post after issue of new stamps" typed at top with 4 x Fish defins. A fourth cover from the US dated 15 Sep 1969 is addressed to Mr John Clunies-Ross "King of the Cocos Islands" with 3 x 10c Man on the Moon but subsequently taxed with "Returned for 5 cents additional postage. Total postage 25 cents. Rate 25 cents per ½ oz." with numbers completed in hand. 3rd 10c was the added & sent on its way. An attractive & unusual group. (4)
