Military Mail WWII covers in large quality Safe 14 ring album, each item flagged with sticker relating to usage shown on the cover. Plethora of diff PO's noting Naval PO Gerne Bay (1946), No.8 Australia Base PO, Australia Unit Postal Stn (354, 362), Mil PO Chermside, RAAF Bundaberg, Aust FPO 35, Aust Army PO 22, Army Post Office 55 & Aust FPO 168 (Papua) amongst many others. Noted a considerable range of Censor markings boxed, triangular, oval etc plus instructional markings e.g. Department of the Army Concessional Rate (one cover thus in violet & in purple, 1940), RAAF Concession Postal Rate (1946), HM Naval Service, HMA Ships, RAAF Service (boxed), ditto but unboxed in 2 lines, 1951 Tax 2d cover in m/s to California franked with 1d QM x 3 tied by Mil PO Bandiana cds. Many covers addressed to Tattersalls/ Geo Adams or emanating from YMCA/ACF Comforts Fund. Cond mostly good, some roughly opened but worth retaining. Also noted 1d KGV on 1915 cover Melbourne to England redirected with oval military h/s in violet. Collection originating from the UK hence many items with pencilled prices from £1.50 to £3.50 many years ago. (225)
