Turkey Valuable accum in 5 albums, 2 stockbooks, folder & on leaves plus the Turkish specialist catalogue. Strength in Ottoman period with first imperfs used, 1865 MLH & used incl PD's & 1868 perfs & colour shades/changes with heavy dupl in stockbook, 1876 types MLH & used to 25pi & 1898 Military set for use in Thessaly MLH & used plus a good coverage of "Printed Matter" ovpts before 1908-09 types & 1911 Sultan's Visit to Macedonia MLH to 5pi. Continues with 1914 pictorials to 100pi used & an album of 1865-1918 written up & noting 1886 25pi pale grey-brown V/F/U (Cat. £225) & 25pi black MLH (Cat. £300) & used (Cat. £500) plus 1891 handstamped "IMPRIME" (15, incl 3 noted forgeries), 1892 with similar ovpt incl 2pi x 3 (Cat. £225 ea.) before varieties with angular h/s's, 1894 "Printed Matter" ovpts complete used, 1915 Provisionals incl some inverted ovpts & 1917 Provisionals. Also 2 complete albums of obligatory tax, aviation fund & revenues written up with aid of specialist catalogue & a further album with 1921 Angora (Ankara) Nationalist Govt & some earlier issues noting double ovpts & other varieties described. Incls an album from a different collection with typed up pages from 1863 with 7 imperfs, 3 forgeries & 3 PD's, all used, handwritten/typed mixed 1865-1898 MLH/used noting 1871/72 Constantinople print irregular perfs (15) plus 2pi bisect on piece) with different town cancels & a few other bisects on 2 stockcards. Also a 4 ring binder with album pages of stamps, postcards incl 1898 & 1901 used with a few unused incl post & reply card. The only modern are 1955 NATO, 1956 Izmir Cement & 1958 Ataturk se-tenants FDC's. Finally, a stockbook with diverse range of Red Crescent, revenues & cinderellas MUH, MLH & used from earlies to 1980's.
