Great Britain Locals written up on leaves in bulging Senator binder with Herm Island starting at a 1953 cover airmailed to Egypt with local 1d green tied by violet cds, Tuck's card to Lancashire with KGVI 2d tied by Guernsey St Peter Port & Herm Island ½d blue & 6d brown "maps" tied by violet cds of Herm Island plus 1954 set of 5 on FDC & 1957 "Neolithic Man" set tied by 15-5-57 cds on cover. Also a 26-7-57 cover with same issue ovptd "Royal Visit July 26th 1957" with similar detail on later sets on covers apparently complete to 1969. These are followed by Lundy 1936-2012 which is well covered with some pictorial cachets featuring puffin profile alongside date. Inspection recommended as this is elusive material in the pre-decimal period & as such well worth the reserve. (100s)
