1954 (2nd Feb) Royal Visit FDC group with all diff noting an envelope with cachet showing a rather poor likeness of the Queen & Prince in brown by a unknown producer (Melbourne cds), EA Richards cover with similarly poor "reproduction" of the stamp design in blue, Three Arrows with "Miss M Hodson" address h/s, Mitchell multi-coloured unaddressed, Haslem "Royal Tour" & "Royal Visit" plus an "Artcraft" to USA. Also Southern Cross Printers "Queen & Prince", an unaddressed Guthrie & generic "Royal" in 4 colour combinations & Wide World (3). Noted a Newcastle & Hunter Valley "Mining Agriculture Industry' illust cover with 3½d & 7½d only plus a set of 3 covers inscribed "First Day of Visit" with the single stamps tied by Brisbane "3 FEB/1954 ... ROYAL VISIT" slogan cancels. Generally fine cond. (31)
