1935 (21st Aug) Darwin to Adelaide cover with 2d SJ & 3d Airmail tied by Darwin cds & Adelaide 26 AU 1935 Air Mail Saves Time slogan b/s. Addressed to Capt. FW Haig, Vacuum Oil Co., Adelaide & signed "J Chapman Pilot"". Initially carried on "Faith in Australia" but engine damaged at Daly Waters. thus mail was delayed until arrival of relief plane from Adelaide. VG cond. AAMC 523
