Canada 1970 (5th July) Air Canada Flight 621 was a Douglas DC-8 flying on the Montreal–Toronto–Los Angeles route. It crashed while attempting to land at Toronto Pearson Airport with the loss of all 100 passengers & 9 crew. Large A4 sized "Mine Equipment Company" Quebec company env addressed to the Ontario branch with ""SALVAGED FROM AIR CRASH JULY 5" 2-line cachet in black above address. 10c green tied by Sept-Iles cds for 2 VII 1970. Incls the "Toronto Daily Star" newspaper with full report & numerous photos. As expected, worn cond with faults. Rarely offered with little mail salvaged due to the fire.
