Netherlands 1861 (12th May) cover bearing 10ยข imperf plate VI (late use) tied by straight line "FRANCO" with neighbouring "Hertogenbosch" cds. Mounted on annotated album page noting that the "Franco" size used was not held at the Herogenbosch PO thus a railway letter as conductors were supplied with these cancellers if no specific railway stamp was available. Vendor paid $400 in Linke auction.
