1857 (10th Sept) Sydney to Yorkshire on the Steamer "Emeu" & endorsed accordingly with 1854 6d deep slate imperf (damaged top left corner) tied by barred obliterator. Superb strike of the large "Sydney, New South Wales" cds on reverse. London Paid arrival in red above address & Beverley (Yorkshire) arrival on back. Good cond costing the vendor £150 in Cavendish Auction.
