1894 (8th Feb) "Electric Telegraph, Western Australia" Telegram in reddish-purple ink on cream paper from Perth to Wardens Office Murchison Goldfield with superb "WARDENS OFFICE MURCHISON GOLDFIELD." ORS 2 in violet ink. Also "Telegraph Office Geraldton W.A." ORS 2 top right in red ink. Small piece missing above ORS 2 but not affecting strike. Rated rare.
