1975 (9th Oct) X-24B Flight B-31-44 illust commem cover pmkd Edwards, Ca & signed by Einer Enevoldson, an American civilian research pilot for NASA's Hugh L. Dryden Flight Research Center based at Edwards Air Force Base from 1968 until 1986. He was involved in many research programs, including those with experimental wings, propulsion and digital computer flight control systems. On two separate flights, Dana flew the X-15 to an altitude above 50 miles thereby qualifying as an astronaut according to the US definition of the boundary of space
