1893 "ONE PENNY" surcharge in green on 3d pale brown, wmk Cr/Cc perf. 14. Vertical MLH pair with only one surcharge, the lower stamp appearing to have no surcharge. A similar anomaly is recorded but unpriced by Juhl in his 1992 WA catalogue No.66av.2 (horizontal pair, one without surcharge). Mint hinged with clipped perfs top & bottom. Lower stamp torn at left.
