1939 (28th Nov) Geneva to Manley, Queensland "PASSED BY CENSOR" cover with "OPENED BY CENSOR" tab at right. Carried by Imperial Airways "Corio" flight SE 199 to Tiberias where it suffered tail damage on 4th Dec. The mail was then transferred to the "Coogee" the following day. This is confirmed as being on this flight as distinct from the duplicated service XSE 199 by the Brisbane 12 DEC arrival b/s. Vert fold & some edge damage probably caused by censor. The only recorded cover this origin/destination from this event. Ex Perry.
