1938 (5th Jan) Ravenhose Ltd Salford GB cover to Melbourne carried on Imperial Airways "Coolangatta" flight IE617 which experienced dual incidents commencing with a forced landing at Corfu on 10th Jan 10 owing to inclement weather & resuming the following day. On 15th Jan, the "Aurora" took over the service but was unable to land at Delhi due to fog & thus force landed 50kms northwest. The aircraft was slightly damaged with passengers & mail were transferred to Delhi by motor vehicle before being transferred to the "Arethusa" for the flight to Australia. Melbourne 22 JAN 1938 b/s.
