1929-1940 range of Australian covers plus documents incl 1954 newspaper cutting detailing air crash of BOAC Australia to England flight at Singapore. Also a US General Services Administration 1969 letter to English resident who had requested information on Kingsford-Smith's 1928 & 1934 flights in US airspace. Of the covers notable items incl 1937 1d QM & 2d KGVI FDC to Lundy Is with "Atlantic Coast Air Services" ½d adhesive tied by boxed Barnstaple to Lundy Island 16-6-37 in blue, the only part of the journey which was by air, 1939 (7th Mar) registered RAAF Station Richmond cover, the opening day of that post office (label no. 007) & a plain 1939 (7th Feb) Sailplane flight cover to philatelist EH Wythes with 2d Sesqui tied by cds reading "PG NSW 7FE39". Nice lot written up on leaves (11 covers)
