Great Britain 1840-1953 used accumulation to 1902 with later MLH/used. Toning on many MLH through poor storage but a huge catalogue value. Starts with 1843 £1 revenue blue embossed with lead ingot on piece tied by crowned London cds, an unused Mulready 1d envelope soiled/creased, 1840 1d blacks x 3 (all with faults), 1841 1d red imperfs (9, fair to fine), 2d blue (2) & a few perfd 1d & 2d recess. Nothing until 1883 then duplicated QV to 10/- incl 2/6d (5), 5/- (7) & 10/- average used. KEVII dupl with some nice cds incl 4d "FISH WHARF B", 2/6d (10), 5/- (21) & 10/- (4) in mostly fair to good cond. KGV incls BEE blocks (toned MLH), KGVI incl 10/- dark blue (5) & £1 brown (10), 1951 Festival £1 MLH (8 used) & 1953 Coronation stained MLH. Two scarce 1912 triangular bicolours for Fourth Philatelic Congress of GB together with a marginal pair 1916 National Philatelic War Fund (orange & black) at the end. Low estimate reflects cond.
