1918 (7th Oct) South Africa Aerial Post Card "Make Your Sixpence Fly" (large wings) first Cape Town flight with 2 x ½d KGV greens tied by the Aerial Post South Africa cds's. Addressed to England. Message reads, "This will start on its journey in care of Lieut Gearing RAF who is carrying the first official Air Mail on Oct 7th" in addition to "May the Huns get a real hiding." Good cond.
