1926 (30th June) Calcutta to London Cobham intermediate leg. Printed env for "England to Australia 1926 Flight, Return Trip. Carried from Calcutta to London,......Sept 1926" with m.s "10th" crossed out & replaced by "16th". Additional black overprint reads "Mr Cobham arrived in Calcutta on ......was delayed at the Jungle Island of TUNOON owing to raging storms." with "19/6/26 added in m/s. India 2a KGV tied by Calcutta GPO cds. Possibly AAMC 101b but with triangular incision into cover & stamp with red manuscript "Not Carried" & initialled. Interesting.
