Military Mail WWI & mainly WWII active service censored covers in FDC album. Opens with 1890 Norwegian military postcard advising of a change of address & 10pf Germania postcard unused with boxed "Guiltig 9 Armee" for use during occupation of Romania. WWI represented by 21 stampless covers with oval, triangular or rectangular boxed censor marks in red. WWII extensive (c110) mixture of formular Active Service & ordinary airmail covers from various field PO's inside Australia & from overseas mostly addressed to Militia & War Services League in Charters Towers. Also Royal Navy formular letter to Cessnock with censor mark & boxed PASSED FREE SURFACE POSTAGE machine strike. As to be expected cond varies with some roughly opened but viewing will impress the specialist interested in censor marks, FPO strikes & origins. (127)
