1931 (23rd Apr) FFC Australia to UK pre-printed cover with "BY AIR MAIL" blue etiquette & 2d Kingsford Smith in block of 4 plus 3 pairs & single of 3d green Airmail pre-paying correct rate. Owing to plethora of adhesives the violet "FIRST OFFICIAL AIRMAIL FLIGHT…" cachet has been applied to reverse along with addressee (Vacuum Oil Co Ltd) time stamp of mailing dept. indicating "REC'D MAY 15 1931". Minor corner creasing & toned edges affecting one or two stamps but remains an attractive usage cover.
