Germany/Poland 1943 10mk Litzmanstadt Concentration Camp aluminium receipt token with (translated) inscription reading, "The oldest of the Jews in Litzmanstadt". Reverse shows a star & inscribed "Ghetto 1943". In 1939 in the city of Lodz, the German SD/Gestapo established the Litzmanstadt Concentration Camp for Jewish Nationals & Roma. Initially paper money was issued in return for work performed, however that changed to aluminium coinage in 1942.
