1927 (12th July) Royal Visit to Australia autographed letter from the future Queen Elizabeth as Duchess of York from her residence at 145 Piccadilly to Madame Handley Seymour, her dressmaker. Madame Handley Seymour designed the Duchess's Wedding dress in 1923 & later the Coronation dress in 1937. A scarce handwritten letter requesting her clothing bill for her Australian visit before buying anything else. Showing her well known fiscal discipline she hopes "that it is not too vast". Good cond presented with Royal couple postcard.
