WWI Censored Covers (1)1917 to USA handstamped "Passed" in violet, 2½d Kangaroo tied by SHIP MAIL ROOM MELBOURNE cds; (2) 1915 to USA, similar franking tied by Sydney machine cancel & taped "OPENED BY CENSOR" at left; (3) 1916 large letter to Switzerland with block letters PASSED in violet & with pair of 2½d (for two ounces) tied by Adelaide machine cancel. Small tears top & bottom, but covers (1) & (2) both fine & neatly opened. No toning. (3 items)
