Noted Natal Chalon types (c70) unchecked for perf & wmk varieties, but in very mixed cond; 1874/99 5/- with fiscal cds, 1882/89 to 3d grey only MLH; 1902/3 to 2/6d (ex 2/-) MLH plus used with odd duplicate; 1904/8 2/- MLH (Cat. £60), 1908/9 2/- MLH (Cat. £15), 1904 "Official" ½d, 1d (2), 2d used; good O.F.S. "Tree" type (56, plus 70 surch/VRI ovpts MLH & used) noted "VRI 4d" ovpt MLH/MUH strip of 6 with raised & level stops mixed, unused ½d carmine p/c ovptd VRI ½d ; 1903/4 to 1/- MLH (ex 2½d), 1905/09 MCA ½d, 1d, 4d MLH & c50 other "Colony" used.
