British East Africa A nicely written up collection in SG binder to show the postal progress of The East African Territories. Noted 1890 BEA "light bulbs" set of 13 to 5R MLH with later additional vals & 7½a on 1r. F forgeries of 2R, 4R & 5R vals with detection guide, 1895 ovpt on India additionally surcharged "2½" in red with the "l" inverted, a set of ovpts on India to 5R (some heavily hinged) & 1896 to 1R small plus 1R & 2R large MLH. Also 1897 ovpts on Zanzibar plus both "2½" types of surcharge in red MLH. 1903/04 East Africa & Uganda to 5R (excl 2R, 3R & 4R) MLH, 1904/07 to 2R mixed MLH & used, 1907/08 to 75¢ used, 1912/22 to 5R incl shades 25¢, 75¢ (missing 3R & 4R) MLH & used to 20R (excl 4R & 10R). 1922/27 to 7/50d MLH & used to 10/- plus 1931 FFC Nairobi to UK, 1935 to £1 MLH & 1/- perf. 13x12 used (Cat. £140) & set used to 10/-.
