New Zealand 1862-1987 MUH, MLH & used on Hagners in 3 binders starting with imperf 2d blue (one margin), roulette (2, spacefillers), 1864/67 6d red brown p. 12½, 1871 1d brown, 6d blue (2), 1873 no wmk 2d vermilion, 1874 1st sideface set to 1/- incl perf & wmk varieties (26) plus 1878 2/- (trimmed top) & 5/- (sound). Also 1882/97 SSF (58, arranged by perf types), 1898 pictorials with shades & perfs to 5/- (latter p. 11 vermilion mint, minor surface soiling, plus one with Otago crown fiscal cds), 1902/07 wmkd pictorials incl 2/- p. 11 MLH & used, 5/- fiscal cds, comprehensive to 1/- incl shades (mainly used), 1906 Christchurch set used (6d fine cds) & to 3d MLH. 1907/08 reduced pictorials incl perfs & shades (25), 1909/13 KEVII, 1913 Auckland ½d & 1d, KGV both perfs to 1/- complete (7½d MLH). Vol. 2 with MLH incl KGV 8d, 9d ovpt OFFICIAL, 1920 Victory, 1925 Dunedin (2 sets), 1926 3/- pale mauve, 1931/34 Airs, 1935/36 to 3/- (mixed wmks), 1960 to £1 MUH (3/- brown used) & then most commem issues in blocks &/or pairs. Noted 1967 decimal set to $2 (both). Vol. 3 with Christmas issues (in blocks from 1973) & Health's from 1929 MLH incl Smiling Boys. Missing 1934-1936 but with duplicated from 1959 & all M/S's simplified. Mostly MUH incl 1964 plus few other M/S's incl 1969 Cook (2) & 6 later. No "back of the book" except few officials & modern Govt Life. Worthwhile collection in generally fine cond. Cat. £3500+ (100s)
