Great Britain 1840-1951 substantial collection in quality Lighthouse stockbook. Starts with 1840 1d black x 2 in average cond then excellent range 1841 imperfs with various cancels (no numbered M/C), 1854/57 shades, perfs, wmks, 1858/79 plates to 224 with duplicated of some, surface printed of enormous cat. value. Incls 1855/-1887 in generally good to fine used cond with plate number variations included for most vals to 1/-/. Also high vals incl 1867/83 5/- SG 126, 1883/84 white paper 2/6d x 4, 5/- x 5 & 10/-. Mint also included from 1881 (except 1883 "lilac & greens") with 1887 to both 1/-, KEVII similar incl perf. 15 x14. High vals used only with 2/6d x 7 & 5/- x5. A good coverage of Downey Heads MLH & used, Mackennals to 1/- MLH duplicated range used, a few Seahorses in mixed cond, 1924/25 BEE & Block Cypher wmk to 1/- MLH with later comprehensive (excl £1 PUC) MLH & used with £1 RSW MUH x 2.
