Macedonia-German Occupation1944 15st blue CTO block of 8 with lower selvedge cancelled with bilingual SKOPJE 2.XI.44 (5 days after issue). All 8 stamps are Michel Type II with the 9 in 1944 having a rounded bottom. Three print errors noted; (1) 3rd stamp from left, top row, shows listed error "stop after 8 ist at top rather than at bottom", (2) same stamp shows "M" of "Makedowea" with right leg missing (not catalogued & scarce) & (3) first stamp in top row shows "no stop after 8", so far unlisted. Each stamp expertised on back with "Krischken BPP" handstamp, with the one showing two errors stamped twice. A lovely item. Michel Cat. €900
