Michael Schumacher Memorabilia & Model Collection. An impressive collection consisting of a 1/18 scale model collection totalling 68 different cars from his very first F1 outing in the Jordan in 1991 for one race through to his 5 years with Benetton & his final 11 years with Ferrari before his first retirement in 2006. The models represent all the limited editions. The initial Benetton models are all the original Paul's Model Art/Minichamps editions (not the later reproductions) & the latter Ferrari produced by Mattel Hotwheels. The boxes for each are in superb condition with no sun fade or corner damage. The collection also includes an additional 2 models for his go kart outings in 1987 & 1996 (Retail £250 the pair). Amongst the collection are the scarce 1995 Benetton B195 "Alesi Taxi" celebrating his first F1 victory (Retail £250), 1996 Ferrari F310 with rain tyres in Spanish GP (Retail £250), 1998 "Tower Wings" Ferrari (Retail £230), 2001 "9/11" black nose without sponsorship edition (Retail £150), 2004 Record Season (Retail £200), 2006 F248 "Anatomy of a Champion" (Retail £125), 2006 Ferrari FXX #30 Limited to 5030 pieces (Retail £200), Also included in this collection is a Ferrari replica F1 Helmet in Schumacher's colour scheme for 2005 signed by him on the visor (Cost $1200) plus a pair of his Ferrari fire-proof racing boots also signed on each boot (Cost $500 the pair). There is also a signed Ferrari cap & a life size colour cardboard cut-out from his Shell petrol Station promotion in 2002. Finally there are four pieces of his original Benetton B195 car, namely the brake pedal complete with technical drawing for this part, B191 wheel nut also with accompanying technical drawing, the B190 front wing flap with "Sanyo" decal & the B194 front wing flap, all with Certificates of Authenticity from Benetton. This represents the ultimate in Schumacher collectables and has taken 20 years to acquire from across Europe. A wonderful opportunity to deck out the office, home-theatre or the "den". (80 items)
