Meet Ace - the wonder possum!

Ian Boulton has recently sponsored this gorgeous Western ringtail possum rescued by the Great Southern Care Wildlife in Albany. By donating funds to aid this chap in his recovery and ultimate release, he has been named Ace
and a certificate bears witness to 
the fact he will be looked after with care and affection by an army of volunteers. They care for sick injured or orphaned native Australian animals and rehabilitate them with a main goal of release. These include animals who's mother has died, bushfire victims, those that have been kept as pets needing rehabilitation and many other ways in which they are received by this worthwhile charity. Once they are rehabilitated they are returned to the wild where ever possible.
They are always looking for contributions to assist in their valuable work and in the process of donating you receive a photo of your animal, his or hers personal history, and fact sheet on the species adopted.
All collectors are encouraged to visit the website at www.kangaroorescue.com contribute if they can. This would be a great gift idea for those overseas collectors who may be struggling for gift ideas fort friends and family. In the meantime Ace is chilling in the Southwest of WA awaiting his release back into the bush.
